PERC, which stands for Programmable Electric Rotating Core, is a compact, high speed, high torque and high precision system utilizing programmable servo motors in place of hydraulics for unscrewing applications.
Leading tooling designers and OEMs have already realized the many advantages of utilizing this patented system versus conventional hydraulic unscrewing systems. PERC opens up new ways to mold threaded parts more profitably.
Below, explore the many advantages of incorporating the PERC system from B A Die Mold into your next tooling project, or call us at 630-978-4747 to speak with a B A representative.

Pictured above is a hot-tip hot runner mold that uses our patented PERC™ system. Our PERC™ servo unscrewing system enables this mold to form threads with two different pitches using only one motor to drive the cores. Our mold and PERC™ system replaced a traditional hydraulic motor unscrewing system resulting in a vast improvement in cycle time, core position accurate, and overall mold size (reduced size for a smaller press).
These (8) cavity hot runner mold features B A Die Mold's PERC™ (Programmable Electronic Rotating Core) system. The threaded cores are controlled by a programmable electric servo motor and control system.
